What does your business do?
We create fun, memorable ways to experience Hershey and the surrounding area using our awesome bright red trolley!
Why did you start your business?
In March of 2024, I rented a trolley to do a food tour for my real estate clients as a client appreciation event. It was so much fun that I did it again 6 months later. After that, I realized this was an interesting business idea and I bought my own trolley. Our first trolley tour with Lulu was February 27, 2025.
What major obstacle have you faced since you started?
There is a shortage on DCL drivers. I can't drive the trolley because I'm not a CDL driver and I can't run tours without a driver. Every single time a driver shows up to drive I thank God. I'm very blessed with 4 great drivers.
What advice would you give others looking to start business?
I heard once on a podcast that starting a business costs 10dx the money you think it will, 10x the time you think it will, and 10x the amount of energy you think it will. that's all true. But it's still worth it wink wink.
Are there any community projects you are passionate about?
I love promoting local non-profits and serve with a few of them. I especially appreciate the Hershey History Center. They are wonderful advocates and partners of Yokl.
Is there something interesting about you we might not guess?
I have 5 kids and being a mom and a partner to a wonderful husband are the greatest joys of my life.
